Job Description: 

Basic Qualifications

B.E/B.Tech

Minimum of 12+ yrs of work experience

Java OR C++

Should be very strong technically

Should have good people management experience

Relevant work experience in Software Development.

Software management and a proven ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.

Proven analytical and quantitative skills ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases and deciding the right priority.

Proven ability to architect large scale systems.

High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications.

Ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees.

Should be able to think strategically and execute methodically and tactically.

Superior verbal and written communications skills.

7 years of Software Development Experience

Bachelors degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Electronics or equivalent

Hands-on Experience in Java and J2EE

Knowledge of SDLC

Experience in working on RDBMS

Experience in Design of Software modules

Basics knowledge of Linux/Windows Operating System concepts

General Summary:

This position is responsible building, delivering, enhancing and supporting Products and Services in support of several key disciplines, such as: J2EE and web based products telecommunications and the cellular industry.strategic projects. Urgent Opening for DBP Lead (Oracle PL/SQL )

Position: DBP Lead (Oracle PL/SQL)

Total experience: 6+ yrs

Qualifications and Experience:

Requirements: 

Candidate should have around 6-8 years of work experience.

 At least 5 years Develop, implement, deploy and assist in Oracle PL/SQL code development on Oracle 9i/10G/11G.

Thorough exposure to Unix environment, Shell scripting. Preferred having Perl scripting knowledge.

 Sound knowledge of debugging, test plan preparation and should be able to monitor server logs.

 Troubleshoot, optimize and tune PL/SQL procedures.

 Have some exposure of handling business requirements, functional and technical design

 Ensure smooth functioning of our development, QA, production and staging environments.

 Some exposure of post production support, handling tickets and willing to take ownership.

 Document detailed application specifications; translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/enhance software application modules.

 Participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications

 Identify/troubleshoot JAVA application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation

 Good communication skills with positive attitude.

Job Specific Preferences: 

As an senior Oracle DB developer, individual will design, develop, code, test, debug, deploy, support and document high quality programming applications to satisfy requirements of one or more user areas. You will utilize mature (3rd or 4th Generation) programming methodologies and languages and adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation. You along with development will also provide technical and production support to the assigned systems
