Position: OSS Services Delivery Manager
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field with a total of 10 – 12 years of industry experience.
Minimum of 5 to 7 Years of program/project management experience developing/delivering complex OSS/IT solutions to telecom customers.
A record of successful delivery of software systems as an individual, team leader and or/development manager.
A willingness to dive into software environments and technical issues as part of maintaining the skills necessary to manage and advocate products and projects.
An entrepreneurial spirit with strong product and program management skills.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners to get things done.
Excellent written, oral communication and inter-personal skills. Should be willing to travel as per business needs.
Role : Reporting to the OSS PDU Head, this leadership role is responsible for managing and coordinating the resources and processes to successfully deliver various OSS and Software consulting programs. This role is also responsible for leading software groups, contractors and 3rd party product vendors to accomplish successful delivery of OSS/IT projects/programs.
Work together with Project Managers /Team Leads to plan and execute projects, ensure that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver solutions effectively by establishing realistic estimates for timelines while ensuring that projects remain on target to meet deadlines.
Track and report the status of various projects to both internal and external stake holders of the projects.
Ensure compliance to software development processes, practices and operations to enable reproducible and high quality deliverables. Contribute towards process improvements and continuous development.
Demonstrate leadership abilities to clients on various deliverables and commitments like release schedules, project governance, customer satisfaction, etc.
Helpteamto resolve both technical and human-resources related issues and handle routine people management chores.
Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career development.
