10-12 years of Software Development Experience
Bachelors degree in Engineering in Computer Science/ Electronics or equivalent
Experience in Java and J2EE
Good analytical and problem solving skills
Experience of application of RDBMS concepts for large scale Enterprise applications.
Extensive Experience in Software design and architecture of Enterprise systems
Experience working with Cross-functional tea
Experience in capturing requirements interfacing with the key stakeholders
Experience working with teams in diverse geographic locations
Extensive Experience working with third party vendor tools (e.g. monitoring, scalability, performance tuning)
Extensive experience in software design processes and methods
Extensive experience working with Microsoft Office applications
Experience using a source code management tool
System architecture experience
Extensive experience in designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications
Interpersonal Skills
Strong analytical, business logic and problem resolution skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong control and follow-up skills
Solid decision making skills.
General Summary:
This position is responsible building, delivering, enhancing and supporting Products and Services in support of several key disciplines, such as: telecommunications and the cellular industry. Strategic goals. The incumbent will possess a high degree of experience and skill working across all functions involved in project deliveries.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Engineering:
Facilitate design of software modules conforming to the functional/ integration / performance/ user experience requirements.
Internal technical overviews
Requirement analysis and sign-off
Design sign-off
Provide technical leadership to the team
Provide input for operational aspects.
Root Cause Analysis & resolution of production issues and customer reported issues.
Effort estimates (Level of effort, rough order of magnitude etc.)
Evaluation of new technologies and determine technical feasibility
Proof of concept for upcoming technologies and emerging domain specific technologies
