One of our client looking for the below mentioned position. Position: Site reliability Engineer Total experience: 5+ yrs Desired Skills and Experience: At least 5 years of Linux system administration and support experience in an enterprise IT, service provider, or telco environment. Hands on experience including, but not limited to: Linux OS Administration, preferably RedHat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 5 and 6). Ability to script in at least one of the following: Python, shell or perl. Ability to troubleshoot java server applications (Tomcat, weblogic) and APIs in large-scale distributed environments. Apache deployment, tuning, and support. Experience with Zabbix or Nagios or similar monitoring solutions. Experience using chef to manage large server deployments. Oracle and MySQL Database administration from an operations standpoint. Working with storage solutions (Netapp, Isilon, EMC) using iSCSI and NFS. Proven ability to deliver a superior operations experience working directly with corporate clients technology teams and associated change management. Enjoys learning and adapting to advancing technologies and procedural changes. Proven incident and problem solving (troubleshooting) skills with an emphasis on a timely resolution. Must have the ability to coordinate and communicate effectively and professionally with other engineers, teams, and business partners. Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills, with the ability to tailor communication to the intended audience. Ability and desire to work in a team environment. Experience working with ticketing systems. Experience creating and maintaining excellent technical documentation for internal and customer consumption. Desired Skills: Experience with Hadoop, Cassandra, and zookeeper. LDAP experience. Physical hardware and firmware exposure. Experience with virtual server environments (KVM, VMWare, OpenVZ, etc.) Load balancer support (Cisco ACE, F5 LTM, Citrix, etc.) Experience diagnosing complex issues through packet capture analysis (Wireshark, tcpdump) Familiarity with IP enabled storage solutions. Familiarity with fiber channel switches and SANs (Brocade, IBM, Hitachi, HP) Education or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in related fields Certificates of training in associated fields/equipment.
